'happy' ducks? ;-) depends how we look at it, doesn't it?...it's a pleasure for the humans to 'take care' of the ducks...to feed them and prevent them from dying of hunger. For the ducks sake, are they really supposed to eat those bread crumbs etc. that we'd give them? are they good for them really? or do they usually die younger from eating our food cause they don't get balanced diet etc.
i read once that the famous writer Hemmingway used to live in Paris and used to pay regular visits to Jardin du Luxemburg, and guess what he had done? he used to poison the pigeons at that park almost every afternoon by 'feeding' them crumbs with his concoction. He hated pigeons :-|
Would you feed the ducks? :-P
That's a pretty picture!
I hope there are no more floods too!
Ohlala, Maya, I'd rather like to think of them as 'happy ducks'. You know, I think that this food source (the feeders) is not that reliable since they mostly come out when the weather is nice. So I'm sure that the ducks still need to take care of themselves as well.
As for the pigeons - I've heard that some city did the same as Hemmingway since they had become a "plague" (there were so many of them). But as I said I've only heard about it...
Sam - yes, it looks like that was it for this year. Did you have floods in your area as well?
Yes Nicola
I hope virus could end
I was there yesterday evening and it was so cold that even the ducks were hidden away.....
Nice blog and nice picture though - should be warmer tomorrow so may see the Harbour looking nice again?!
joe - yes, me too!!!
p - It's been a bit nicer today (Sunday). We went to the shopping area today and there were lots of people sitting outside having coffe already. Let's hope that it'll continue that way...
I had to work!!!

(should be 12° tomorrow though - a bit of spring at last...!)
