Construction Area 2

This photo is taken at one of the sites where they take down a former department store. Everyone walking by wiped their eyes after looking up (including me) since there was still a lot of dust in the air, although they tried to keep it down with water. It was quite a sight though...

Blowing up the photo, I can also see some wee buds on the tree! Here too.
I know you've had a hard winter in the Rheingau, even though it has a slightly warmer microclimate than nearby Frankfurt - or so I've read.
The mood of the city is intensified by the gentleman at the right who is what my Austrian friend W. would describe as a "Marmeladekopf" German (stocky, pink and blond) and the young woman in a hijab (I think) along with a variety of othe people.
dutchie & bob - thanks, I guess I was there at the right time. An hour later and the building would've been gone.
nuno - smile!
sam & marieta - yes, it was quite dusty, so I took this photo and went on...
grant - Smile! Yeah! Everyone made sure to get away actually ;).
carlos - hm, good idea, maybe I could try to sell this photo ;).
wolf - you're right, it's part of progress. I'm just curios if it's going to be for the good... I'll hopefully be able to show you in a few weeks...
wisconsin pics - thank you! Yes, that's also part of the city mood at the moment.
lagatta - yes, slowly it's getting warmer and you can see signs of spring everywhere - hurray! Smile! Yes, we've got an international crowd here.
santy - that's what I hope too. I'm not sure why we would need two of them but I guess, they've made their calculations...
