Beautiful, it reminds me of my childhood in France. I resented chestnut trees being the first trees to announce fall when the leaves started to turn yellow as early as late August. But I've always loved picking bright shiny chestnuts and keeping them in my pocket, just for the pleasure of touching them.
No such trees in Sydney, we only have gum trees (well, almost only).
oo..chestnut, the nice food in autumn here.

next time I could upload some photos about those small shops where sell the fried chestnuts....
