Thank you for the holiday wish. It just occurred to me that I have seen very few creches this year.
This is just beautiful...and so meaningful. I lived in Bad Kreuznach for a short time in the 80's. Christmas in Germany is a favorite memory.

I just discovered this blog and love it. I lived in Wiesbaden for seven years in the late '80s and early '90s, and these photos bring back so many wonderful memories. I look forward to seeing more of your photos.

Mery Christmas to you also! Wiesbaden is so different now compared to 1970 when I was stationed there. Do you recall a nightspot called "Pfederstahl". IT WAS A GREAT SPOT IN THE 70S!!

Nicola, You take very good pipctures. I used to live in Wiesbaden-Nordenstadt and also down on Platterstrasse 48 in town. I would love to see pictures of the old USAF hospital, Amelia Eahart Hotel and Horchheimerstrasse 12, in Nordenstadt. I miss it and hope to return some day. Have a good one.
