Garden Gnome Buddha
This is the outside display of a shop that actually sells flowers and plants mainly, but part of their concept is to provide possible gifts or everything else you could need for your house and garden as well.
The little guy on the chair immediately caught my attention - looks like even garden gnomes are doing yoga nowadays. :)

kind of weird looking :D , on the other hand I'll buy the heart-sharped wing stand ;)
Thanks a really good catch! A garden gnome making yoga. I'm laughing out loud here, 'cause it's the first time I ever saw one like that !!! I like the door entrance in the background a lot! Is this the shop's entrance?
haha, very interesting, Nicola...yes, never seen something like that before...yoga master gnome!
:-D yoga is a trendy thing to do nowadays even for a gnome (I don't even know that man with a santa red hat is called a gnome before...). I learn a new thing everyday :-P Good catch, Nicola...
Gnome in full lotus. It's amazing what people will buy/or sell
to me me it allmost looks like a Boedhist Gnome :-)
Those garden gnomes do everything. =)
Haha- I saw a garden gnome attached to the front of a well traveled bicycle the other day.
That is amusing! I've never seen a Buddha gnome.
Yes, very strange position. Beautiful shot!
nice setting for the store...very invited:-) great capture
Wonderful shot Nicola! Yes, the lotus positioned gnome is cute. But the display is really something else. the shop owner is a clever, clever person to put such a display. the colours and items are very attractive and I'm sure lots of people walk into teh shop because of it.
Awesome title.Hats off.
Lovely shop display. One can get a feeling for Wiesbaden as a quiet and orderly small city - not many places you can leave quality merchandise out on the pavement and not get it stolen or vandalised!
What I like is the plain white garden furniture, simply because it looks very solid and good-quality. The articles I've seen here recently - all imports from China and elsewhere in the Orient - are terribly shoddy, even the expensive ones.
Note the careful composition and colour scheme - thanks to Nicola and the shop owner or display-person!
Thank you all for your comments!
fotoaddict - should I ask the shop owner about shipping options? ;)
karine - no, that gate actually belongs to the building next to it. Makes a nice background though :).
eurobrat - that's a funny catch as well :).
lagatta - oh yes, there is not much to worry about. And of course, the shop owner keeps an eye on their display.
