All set up for World Cup

I actually took this photo because I thought it was funny to see this little neighborhood competition going on with the Spanish flag, then the smaller German flag downstairs and on the building on the right a rolled up flag which could be French or maybe Netherlands...

But then looking at the photo at home I was surprised how many satellite dishes they also have - how many do you count?

For Wiesbaden - far too many satelite dishes I should say. But clear, colorful shot!

I counted 9... =)
At least you have ome flag variety there... there are almost only German ones here... but loads of different t-shirts. I think Brasil has the most shirt-fans (and the nicest colors in my opinion)

That is a lot of satelite dishes! I have not been feeling the world cup fever too much around here. My team (Costa Rica) lost against germany in the opener and I didn't even learn about it until today. =)

I see nine, although one at the top left I see as a shadow wnd wires. It is an interesting shot. Watched the French Open today; don't know how Iran v. Mexico did, but know that the match was an occasion for protest.

It looks like bloggers acting up again so I will post in a couple of hours, but just wanted to say - theres EIGHT satellite dishes - although I suspect one of them is not a dish - I am so surprised with soooo many dishes - I don't see any here - I also count one person looking at you hehe btw - I can't believe you got my question correct - you have good eyes and read my post question to a T. I think Americans are the only country that seems to be oblivious to the ramification of soccer on the global scale. Soccer is one sport that crosses social economic and political lines where everyone can get together and compete against one another - aside from the racial and political rhetoric that occurs from time to time, the game goes on.

Hmmm... is flag size inversely correlated to chances of winning?

Eight satellite dishes? We have all gotten so used to them they almost blend in with the decor.

Thank you all for your comments! I counted nine, too, if you count the shadow of one in the top (middle) in as well.

We'll see how the size of the flags will be related to the chances of winning... Maybe the smallest will win... ;)
