Boats Club

Today I watched these guys practice in the Schiersteiner Hafen. They weren't the only ones in the water, as you can see. There were several other teams on the water, kayakers as well as oarsmen. If you like kayaking, check out Nicholas' Honolulu DP blog!

Auwe! Nicola is that for real - look on the top right corner - outrigger hawaiian two person canoe?? Who makes those? Or are they being imported from somewhere else? Wow that is SOOOO awesome - how far is Bochum, Germany from that place? one of the boys in my kayak canoe team came in seventh at the Ruhr regatta there - you can read it here: Bochum Regatta

The beauty of the rippled water caught my eye. Also like all the horizontals. Enlarging the photo always enhances all the subtleties.

Calm water...it seems like it's a good place to go swimming too. I don't know if you see some people swimming around during this time of the year :-) Ah..rowing or kayaking would be great exercise for my flabby arms ;-P
