Summer in the City

Are you up to some beach feelings right in the middle of the city? Just walk around the City Hall and the Marktkirche. The bar located there has set up a beach with beach chairs, sand, palm trees and everything you need for some holiday feelings. I took this shot in the morning so noone was there, but trust me, in the evenings it's packed! There are several others in the city as well, which I'm gonna check out over the summer for you :).

This is so cool!...great initiative. Do they have big flat TV to watch the World Cup too ? in which case, it will be the ideal spot to watch a game ;)

Your city looks like a very enjoyable place to relax.... even if you have fake beaches. -Ryan

Yes, I've noticed from a certain sporting event that there's hot weather in Germany at the moment. Where are the sunbathers?

cool...just like in paris when they create a beach along the river for the city slickers. why not? since beaches are far away...the ones who can afford this ambiance...will win the crowd for sure :-) is there tv too? to watch the world cup matches? :-D

how wonderful! seeing that no-one will travel to the beach during world cup season, why not bring the beach to them? the owner's of the bar are business geniuses.
